Sophie Lo comes to us with more than five years of experience delivering administrative support and departmental coordination from the wholesale, catalog, and e-commerce realms, most recently in product-based fundraising for schools and organizations. Sophie loves the details, ensuring efficiency, and generally being helpful, especially for organizations that value and build community. Sophie is a first-generation Chinese American daughter of parents who immigrated from Guangdong, China. She grew up in Sacramento in the Central Valley of California and earned her Bachelor of Science in Avian Sciences from the University of California, Davis. She has been a Mentor with Acorn Mentoring Project for under-resourced youths in Sacramento, a youth group sponsor for Rhythm Youth in Davis, volunteer of various homeless outreach programs, and, more recently, a fellow of the PACC Fellowship, of which she is also a part of the LGBT subgroup.
